google form integration with joomlaIntegrate Google Forms with Joomla 3 & 2.5. This article applies to Joomla 3.x and Joomla 2.5. it will also sever previous versions. Some of the extensions will allow you to get creative with forms for your site. But I find Google Forms way too easy and effective to use. Here are the quick steps to integrate Google Forms with Joomla site.

Google forms are really effective and are highly easy to use. The best part is they are free and are easy to integrate with your Joomla website. The Google forms currently lack of few features, however there is always a way around. You can easily get through some of your creativity.

You may have already tried some of the free extensions present under Joomla Extension Directory. Some of them are really well designed and useful. Most of the form applications carry lag and keep dropping important communications.

I've personally used several form extensions and found them working improperly. They sometimes make me really happy by delivering the forms in a timely manner that is instantly. But sometimes, they keep missing and drop several communications that are sent via these forms.

While working with Joomla when you set your site in offline mode, you might come across a login form. This is quite ok and is a normal Joomla behaviour for offline state. However, you might want to get rid of this form and just show the message that your site is in offline state or down for maintenance.

This is quite possible and is very easy to achieve. But please be aware, that any changes you will be making to this file will revert to its original state upon updating your core Joomla. So each time you update your Joomla, you will have to do these steps one more time in order to retain this time.

Who does not love great looking URLs and easy to read links. In Joomla 3 we have the ability to make your URLs look more friendly and easy to understand. While we crave to make them easy and more readable by tweaking some options in the backend, we might still end up with article ID’s inside the URLs.

How are we going to manage that Ids and make them disappear from the URLs?. Well, you don't have to worry about it because there is an easy way to handle it.
